Elkhorn Outdoor Sports, located at 6745 20th St in Rio Linda, has scheduled a must-attend Outdoor Expo that will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on March 8, 2014.
The expo will feature top-notch seminar speakers, including many great names in the fishing industry. Make sure you bring the kids because there will be many fun activities for them to participate in as well.
Speakers include Fishin’ James, who will be speaking about trolling for salmon on the river, and Brett Brady with Barebones Guide Service, who will educate you more about drifting minnows in the rivers for big striped bass. Jay Lopes with Right Hook Sportfishing will teach you how to how to catch a sturgeon on the California Delta, while Dave Hammond with Delta Pro Fishing will share the secrets of how to become a great troller for striped bass on the Delta. The Fish Sniffer’s own Ernie Marlan, will share some of his favorite lures and spots on the Delta when plugging for stripers.
Several businesses, including River2Sea, Gamma fishing line, Shasta Tackle, Big Rock, Sam’s Club, Big M Fisheries, P-Line and Trigger Happy Comfort Grips, will share their newest gear and blow out some of their tackle at ridiculously low prices.
If you need that extra incentive to attend, Tim Boggs, owner of Elkhorn Outdoor Sports, is planning to have an excess of merchandise at the store on sale as well as deals ranging from 10% up to 25% off. In addition, Shimano rods will be 20% off, Reels will be 10% off and outdoor apparel will be 10% up to 25% off.
