Striper Fest Camping Info
Nov 1st, 2009 at 12:50pm

I was at Brannan last Friday and spoke to the the staff at the main gate.

As mentioned earlier, there are no reservations being accepted.  It's 1st come, 1st serve. I plan to register for  site #3 on Friday Nov.13th at noon.

For ONE group camp site, the fee is $100 per night.  This fee covers maximum of 30 individuals and 10 vehicles.

As all know, I've requested a deposit of $10/ sniffer and needed 10 confirmed with your check for Friday night.

During the fest weekend, I will collect the additional $10 for the Saturday night fee from each participant at the campsite.

Please be advised.  I've planned to reserve only one camp site for Friday and Saturday night.  This is the reason why I asked for private messages sent to me to confirm.

If we have over 10 vehicles, then there will be additional cost incurred.  So please pm by next Friday Nov. 6 to confirm.

AGENDA/ITINERARY

FRIDAY
Arrival, set up, boat launch, settle in. Dinner is on your own.

SATURDAY
More arrivals, set up, launch, fish

4:45p.m. Group Photo
5:00p.m. Pot Luck Dinner

PARKING & CAMPSITES
Parking and Campsites are on a 1st come 1st serve basis. There is NO PARKING allowed in the inner grass area (the grass area on the inside of the loop). Keeping the road loop clear of vehicles is the best way to keep the Rangers happy

BOAT LAUNCH & BOAT SLIPS
The launch or slip fees are not included in the group site fee so please pay at the iron ranger or the front gate. If you're in the group site...the fee is $5 per day for launching, $7 per day for a slip. Just make sure you have your tag displayed on your windshield that says you're in the group campsite also.

DOGS
If you bring your dog, please remember to pick up after him/her and keep an eye on them. We are camped in a State park and Rangers WILL be patrolling the area.

KIDS
Parents are responsible for their kids. The main thing is that they are kept within supervising range by the parent(s).

WATER & ELECTRICITY

There are NO WATER or ELECTRICAL HOOK UPS at the group camp site. There are clean flush toilets. Also clean showers available at a cost of $0.50/ 3 minutes and additional quarts for more minutes.  BRING Quarters

Delta dude there is a thread at the top of the board. Its nice to know what everyone is bringing so we don't get to many of the same things.

Remember everyone who has some wood bring it for a big fire, we can always use wood.

Thanks for the invite Rick, can't wait to bloody the deck of that Air-Slot. On the other hand, Undecided the old Motor Home will be our homestead, Wink party house, Smiley home away from home Roll Eyes, or just plain old Fish Cleaning Station/Crash pad. Cheesy It's On, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone, Especially my friend Doneli, I didn't expect to make it this year, but, Thanks to Rick, I believe I'mma gonna get to go. Smiley I'll bring lot's a grub! Wink OH I forgot to mention, if my buddy Mongo were to come, it would be cool, because, he's the only person that is able to lift my ice chest, and most of my fish! Hey Roger great that you're attending this Fest. Hopefully you'll be able to drag Mongo down. It'll be a treat to finally be able to meet you and him...along with a lot of other sniffers that I have yet met  Cool.

Looking forward to it buddy, after all what kind of a Striper Fest would it be without you. I promise not to fill the inside of the boat up with gas this time. Maggie please forgive me for not taking you. I know you would have caught the biggest and the most.
