First time I tried tossing this Hornet/Fluke rig on a dropshot rod. I like how the rod loads up when ripping these baits through cover.

Nice fish there mate! Which drop shot rod do you have? The 701 or 702? I use the 703 on the Delta for everything because you need to have the backbone. No noodle sticks for me!

Big O,
   It's an older 681 but 702/04 should also work "just enough backbone" for them smaller 1/4 oz. Hornets.
