it was a GREAT way to end the day, especially since that fish held on for big fish in the tournament. partner and i ended up in second place. i didn't catch many fish (i think 3 or 4 total over two days) but one was the 6+ and the other, on the second day, again with less than half an hour to weigh in, was 4+ ;D ;D ;D

but, boy, what a difference in weather those two days!

I worked the Holder Ford tournament here this weekend.... Saturday was like chocolate milk in a blender....with rain, hail, cold, & wind. & everybody wanting off the water right at 3:00 because of it!

Yesterday, I was in my shirtsleeves till the afternoon breeze kicked up.

I think it was 57 or thereabouts that won the two-dayer.

It'll be cool & breezy this week, but I'll be out. ;D

devil mountain bassmasters clear lake tourney

got back tonite from a two day tourney at clear lake with the devil mountain bassmasters, a fun club out of concord. 37+ for two days won the tournament. yesterday had better weights but BRUTAL conditions, including two hours of off an on hail (mostly on).

today was beautiful once it warmed up. it was freezing overnight and everything was frozen this morning (including the docks). lower weights today but still some nice fish.
