I started out saturday moring from about 9 am to 6 pm not one bite torwards the freeport side lots of salmon swiming near the shore my goal was a nice striped bass or hey if luck was that thick a STURGEON lol never caught one and cant wait till i do.
So with no luck not a nibble on on sardine,shad and anchovie i called it a day i got to the sac deep water channel around 9am when tide was rising using power worm,sardines,anchovies barley a little nibble,but then it all changed are your ready to know what the stripers were in love with CHICKEN liver i wrapped up my hook with it tossed it in expecting that it would be a 15 minute or so wait i picked up my other pole began baiting it when the line on my real began spzzzzzzzzzz.spzzzzzzz OH yeah baby is was a nice striped bass 9 pound 27"inches on chicken liver i lost 3 out of 4 i was using 10 and 15 pounds test and it was being thrashed HIT THE WATER WITH FRESH NOT FROZEN FRESH FOSTER FARMS CHICKEN LIVER
