Getn some new gear...i use 4lb test ...should i go with fluorocarbon or mono...also what brand do you suggest..lookin for decent quality...any info would be appreciated...

Anything less than 10# for Salmon is a bad idea in my opinion. If you land a dark fish that you decide to release or you snag a fish that you have to release, fighting them on light line for an extended period of time significantly reduces their chance for survival. This is even more true on years like this where the water is low and warm with little oxygen.
so Today I went fishing on the Moke in Jackson Calif.
With the Planters In Pardee , last week they finally showed up for a little cool water fun. as did i . This week I went and Stayed Busy for most part ,Till 9:00am when the water releases came and killed every thing .
As I looked over the days catch I noticed a few Things as I did last week . 1 There are smaller rainbows from 4-6 Inches in the river now as from last year , you really did`nt see any that small and That Those smaller
