15 hp honda or ?

Honda's are over priced. I don't think there is a bit of difference between a 1985 Honda 15hp outboard and a 2011 15hp Honda except the color and the decal scheme. I guess they got it right the first time and are charging through the nose for it.
All new small name brand outboards are very good. The best bang for the buck would be a Tohatsu ordered off the internet.
If you want an outboard that will give you zero problems and will outlast the Honda then get a 1980's Johnson/Evinrude 15hp outboard motor.

I'm a big honda fan and looking for a new or good used 15 hp but can get a new mercury or suzuki about 1k less and since money is tight what experience others have had with them. Any input or advice will be appreciated.
