Bob Farro this two sons and grandson. We fished the Sacramento River at the power lines for 8 fish. 2 legal stripers and an undersized Sturgeon. Good time had by all....Fished the incoming,Water temp 67.9 with frozen shad from Gotch Bait in Oakley.

Will be Striper fishing Montauk, NY home of the monster Stripers. Hope to break my best record of 44#. Let's hope the fish God is kind to me.

Weather conditions were great- not too hot in the sun, and no wind:



Here are the details of what worked for us:

Depth: 50' OTW, 100' setbacks.
Speed; 1.4-1.5 mph
Dodger: Vance's copper /orange or gold
Lure: RMT Signature Squid in double glow orange
Scent: Herring
We stayed on the east side of the lake between Ranch house and Big Island.



We ended up with 6 kokanee, 1 trout (released) and two ldrs- here are the five best kokanee:

After the tide turns, we head back to our initial starting point and boated 4 four and miss 4 or 5 hits but no stick.
Ended the day about 4pm. Wind was high in the morning but settled down in the afternoon.
