I wonder if you have any salmon or steelhead spawning in your creek? Sounds like the Yuba system still has some native runs. Looks like you have good habitat for them if it's below dams so that they can get too it.

I dont think theres been any up as far as the creek.. the creek comes from the upper yuba drainage from bowman lake and then in to the south yuba river

Very nice! Is it legal to stock it yourself?? If it is, and if it was my land.....you bet i'd be tossing some brown and rainbow fry in there every spring.

Ive always wondere that.. But there is a good population of trout and little aquatic predators.. The only ones I've seen is mergansers
