Been here at the barge access since noon banking it without a single bite. Anyone else try their luck today?

What happened to the DWC, skunk last weekend and last night. Fished last night with sardines at the barge canal and turning basin for 2 bites. 6pm till 1am, going elsewhere for a while I think.

    Re: DWC fail

I have plans to go out the following weekend, either 2/9 or 2/10.

Too much going on this weekend. I'll keep watching. Report in if possible. I'll be on the couch watching the game.

Last time I was out there was when it rained last week on wednesday, and there was some action at the end of incoming and I ended up with 1 keeper. Been just getting nibbles trips prior to that on clear sunny days so it's a little slow, at least for bankers, with conditions similar to current weather. The water warmed up a few degrees since last week so that might improve things slightly.

I might hit up the ponds in Comanche if they stock trout out there. I'll keep watching and if the action starts to pick up, I'll change my plans.

Watch out for them tankers, sir. Be safe and I'll snap photos if I see kayakers for you to verify.
