I tried to stay at the cramped Brannan full hookup Rv campground......That last about 30 minutes before I went back and got my money back........and moved to Sandy Beach lust pull through site........The reason for leaving..They have a campground Nazi host there...don't park on grass..all tires must be on pavement and on and on.......Brannan will not be getting any more of my business.

As mentioned, Brannan's hook-up sites are very convenient but the spaces are very cramped :-[. The overnight slips are a plus being that you don't have to pull your boat out each day. The main thing I like a bout camping in Brannan is the very clean bathrooms and showers. Heck while typing this reply makes me want to go out camping there this up coming week : ;D ;D

Thanks for the info, Mickey T. Will be out Saturady morning along with the huge crowd that I expecting. Usually launch out of Brannon Island. Will post report afterwards.

5.00 bucks to launch, the launch is in good shape with one dock, no park fee just to launch.

How's the boat ramp at Sandy Beach? What do they charge for just launching or do you also have to pay for the park fee? I hear that the launch is open 24hrs. Thanks.
