Garcia Bend Report 9/23/2005

Friday, September 23rd - Launched at Garcia Bend at 6:00 pm and anchored across from the boat ramp on the Yolo side in 17 feet of water. Fished with sardines and a live squawfish until 11:00 pm. No takers on the squawfish so I released it. Caught lots of small catfish on the sardines but that was it - no stripers.

The salmon fishing still looks slow. I only saw a couple of salmon roll and everybody I talked to got skunked.
