Re: AR fishing question
Contained in the link below are directions on how to access the Paradise Beach area:

I'm not suggesting you fish PB proper. However, I've caught lots of nice fish going east or west along the levy and the adjacent foot trails closer to the river. It's really a matter of how much you want hike and how much water you can eyeball that looks good to you. And, there's been plenty of nice DD fish caught along this stretch of the river.
If anything, you'll have a great communion with nature. Good luck!

AR fishing question
I've never fished the American River, I'm down in Lodi, so I usually do the delta, or Rio Vista, and am looking to try something different. Looking at the map, I'm wondering where I should even start to try on the AR?
I'm not looking for secret honey holes, but just suggestions for places with public access to bank fish for stripers. River bend park? Discovery park where the Sac river joins?
Any help would be appreciated.
Dayv
My fishing luck is so bad I can't catch a cold.
