Berkeley is 15 to launch. You said you launched at loch lomond before, you should launch from there again and save yourself the bridgetoll

Hook Size For Bay Sharks??
I just looked on the map and its a haul to Angel from Vallejo. 20+ miles is what I'm seeing it as. Plus if that wind picks up in San Pablo Bay on the ride home it's a LONG haul and wouldn't be fun.
At that distance it's probably cheaper to pay the toll to cross the bridge to launch from Berkeley.

do know about how far/long it would be to go from vallejo to say angel island area..35-40 mph elements permitting

vallejo, loch lomond, I'm sure there are a few others but it's not my neck of the woods.
we had a 18' Four Winns and I took it in the bay several times. Even rolled out past the gate. That was an adventure! You can have a lot of fun with the shark in that boat. Post an update when you go!
