It's been 2 weeks since the pots are checked so we weren't sure about limits. We got a late start, 10 am launched time, and the HMB enterance was ugly, with breakers thru the channel this morning. Again, should have took the hint when half of the parking lot were full of jet ski trailers. There were big swells on the crab ground but they are far apart so pulling pots were not a problem. Just have to wait until the boat is on the top of the bowl to spot our buoys. Couldn't locate the first 2 pots. The 3rd pot was missing the tie wrap and the door was wide open. *******! > At least rebait and close the dam door! The 4rd pot was loaded...11 nice commies. Made a run to our next string and the next 6 pots were averaging 8 to 12 commies per pot. Easy run back to the harbor. Forecast is calling for good weather thru Saturday.
