Rear Video Camera

The rear camera has infra-red to be able to see w/o lights; however, the license plate light makes the viewing look like it's foggy so the running lights should be turned on when backing up.

What's nice about rear view camera is that I don't have to keep getting in and out of the truck to check the placement of the ball in relationship to the coupler.

As I mentioned, the next camera I install will be on my Motor Home.

Does the camera you bought, have LED's to light the area when backing at night for a better picture?

Where did you buy it and what brand is it? My wife got me one for Christmas, I haven't installed it yet. Still don't know if i want it. I've read online, the one she got me is ok, but has reliability issues long term. She got mine at Autozone.

I finally bit the dust and bought and just installed a back-up video camera. All I can say is "wow"! I backed right up to the boat trailer, got out to see how close I was and the ball was right under the coupler on the first try.
I should have done this years ago.
Next unit will be for my motor home.
