yea, takes awhile to lose your sea-legs and get your land-legs back.
I got used to it in the Navy, it doesnt bother me anymore and usually subsides in a couple hours.

Or do like a friend of mine swore by, drink until you stagger straight

Yeah...i get that feeling a lot. It's weird and it lasts awhile after we get home. By suppertime sitting at the table eating, i still feel like we're on the boat. One time after spending about 12 hours on Melones last summer, my husband & I both felt quite w-a-v-y. It was pretty funny. And they say "get a life" Ha HA!

Navy guys call it getting your sea legs. Ever seen a bunch of Navy guys get off a ship and try to march. Funniest thing I've ever saw. They move back and forth when they march in a line.

I get this every time I go out, whether on the delta, ocean, lake.
I just got back last night from fishing the Freeport derby all weekend & still feeling the rock & roll of the river.
It ussaully last anywhere from a day or 2 up to a week.Nothing real bad, don't make me sick or nothing just feels like I'm still floating on the water.

Somebody once said taking monster doses of vitamin C , something around 2-3000mg would help prevent it too.

Consider yourself lucky. I assure you, seasickness is not a figment of our imaginations.

I love fishing, I'll go out and chase salmon in the Ocean even though it means I'll spend more time "chumming" than fishing. But then, there are times when it just becomes too much. Even after taking the dramamine the night before and the morning of, and focusing on the Horizon, and eating ginger snaps. I assure you I'm very "strong minded" and believe that mind over matter has benefited me greatly in other aspects. Seasickness is definately a PHYSICAL condition.

Can you tell I'm defensive? [smiley=roadblock.gif]
