Re: Shopping in Sac for fishing "stuff"

Broadway bait and gun and Elkhorn tackle are small shops with a lot of stuff crammed in. Both carry the Strike Pro lines which are hard to find.

    Hi Froggie,

You'll need a few days or more to check them all out. There is also another Fisherman's Warehouse in Rocklin, Wild Sports in Orangevale, Elkhorn Bait n Tackle in Rio Linda, Broadway Bait n Tackle in Sac, Troy's Outdoor Sports in West Sac, Sacramento Pro Tackle and also IWE Sports both on Northgate Blvd in the Natomas area of Sac. Several of the Longs Drug stores in the area also carry fishing supplies. Some of the boat dealers also have small fishing sections. Also Sports Authority, Big 5, Sports Chalet, etc.

Go to Sportsman's Warehouse in Rocklin too. Take 80 up to 65. Merge on to 65 and take the Blue Oaks exit. It's on the right hand side of the freeway. Oh, maybe you could also stop by Fisherman's Friend in Lodi if you have the time too!

By the way, I am looking for a 30 lb. Boga Grip. Does anyone in Sacramento carry them? I asked at Fisherman's Warehouse and Sportsman's Warehouse, and they both said they do not carry them. :'(

Shopping in Sac for fishing "stuff"

Gonna be in Sacramento for a few days. Besides driving to Rancho Cordova to the Fisherman's Warehouse, any other 'local' places to buy tackle:lures, nets, scents, etc.???
