FYI - We launched our boat there yesterday no problem at all. Nice day on the water.....no fish to be caught!

At the sport show was a guy who showed me photos of the new ramp that is getting finished and should be operational soon. He said they will poor more if the water goes down more as far as they can. *So when we get some water in there to cover it we will have a much improved launch facility.

Actually n8 they've been doin a good job with layin down some gravel, only slightly muddy at the bottom and its no more than an inch.
I say that cuz i've been there about 3 times in the last 5wks,the worst was the parking lot after rain but still not bad.
4 wheel drive is recommended, but i think its cuz of the incline.First time i went i had to ride the brakes goin down the hill to the launch with an occasional lock up of the wheels sliding across the rocks,at that point putting it into 4wd to eliminate that.

Don't let my report discourage you,i only have a 12ft alum and cheap ff with little trout and salmon catching experience, but the coho there are usually very easy to catch 8-) ;D

That's good news regarding the dock. But, I am still guessing that the launch ramp is still mud/dirt and not cement to the water? :-?

    Dock at Lake Oroville

Just wanted to let everybody know there's a dock at the spillway now in case you've been wanting to go but not too fond of the "splash n dash" method *;D *
Went yesterday and unable to get even 1 bite *> ;D haha * Tried for salmon first then switched over to bass.
    Water temp was 47 degrees
