    Re: Best Bets for Saturday

I had really good success at Bullard's last weekend, in front of the dam. We caught seven in about an hour, and missed others. Other boats that were there had nets out pretty consistently too. Other reports on here earlier in the week were similar. Don't know if that's too far for you but I would think it'd still be pretty good this weekend.
55 feet down, gold dodger, and either a pearl Dick Nite or a chartreuse Kokanee Kandy were doing it for us, tipped with corn (scented with a little shrimp, anise and some "other" stuff)

    Good luck wherever you go

Thanks for the info Sango2. Much appreciated. I will check in to both of those. Where ever I end up I will post the report here on Monday.

    Best Bets for Saturday

So I have been out of the loop for the past couple weeks while in Alaska and have lost track of the fishing around Reno. Does anyone have suggestions for Saturday. I am taking a friend of mine fishing for his birthday and wanted to get him more than cold beer out on the lake. I am always up for Kokes if they are biting anywhere and would be interested in looking for macks as well. Rumor has it Donner is still slow (although it is my favorite lake for koke fishing) and I avoid stampede on the weekends due to the crowds. I am up for any suggestions including non koke fishing. Thanks boys and good luck this weekend.

    Patrick
