*Amador Crappie/Panfish & Bass
Today at 8:03am * * * Went to Amador to learn how to catch crappie and bluegill. Had a ball, caught not only panfish but largemouth too. Used small leadheads 1/16 and 1/32 oz., 1-1/2 and 2 inch grubs in just about any color. Threw to the weedy banks and swam them back to the boat, which was in 10ft. or so of water. Those boogers bit all day long, we just looked for shallow weedy banks and there they were. Surprisingly we caught a lot of bass in real shallow water. Guess they were eating the panfish too. Only about 5 boats on the water, a great day. How about sharing your panfish methods? Thanks, take a look. Paul aka Survivor, that's my buddy holding the fish!
