I started fishing a hour before high tide Sunday Afternoon. *I was using frozen anchovies on a hi-lo with a 4oz torpedo. *On my first cast, about 15mins later, I landed this 18in Cabezon. *I lip hooked it one of the hooks and gut hooked it on the other, so I decided to keep it. *I thought the limit was one fish, >15in, *and I was only targeting Cabezon, I left for home.

Regs updated feb 19th = 1 cabezon. *
Regs updated feb 27th = 2 cabezon. *
I didn't see the update until i got home. I was going by the feb 19th regs. *
