Re: Maxima Crystal Ivory
I wonder if I should stock up on some more since its only 10 bucks for the 600 yards... It was kind of hidden and there were only about 6 left.

Re: Maxima Crystal Ivory
Crystal Ivory is all I used to use when it was plentiful. I used everything from 6lb to 30lb test in different applications ranging from trout/kokanee downrigger fishing, bass fishing, striper bait fishing, rockfishing and sturgeon fishing. Only time I got broken off was when I got slammed by a striper in the delta fishing for smallmouth using 6lb test. It has a bit of memory after being stored for a while but nothing too major in my opinion.

Re: Maxima Crystal Ivory
Well got my first chance to use my poles last night with the line on them, its pretty decent so far, before I was having a big problem with memory and every time i would open the bail I had to be really careful not to tangle when casting. I did get a snag on a log or something im not too sure and had to break my line, well I am running 25lb test with pre tied 30lb leaders... It took a bit of hard pulling to finally break the leader off and actually the leader broke not the line. Pretty strong compared to what I was running before.

Re: Maxima Crystal Ivory
I have used the Crystal Ivory before fishing the ocean.Never had a problem with the line when I used it.Maxima makes all around strong line for the different lines they make.

Re: Maxima Crystal Ivory
One reel took id say about 200 yards and the other is a little smaller took about 175. and I still have more than enough to restring one more so for 10 bucks i figure why not. thats under 5 bucks per reel since i still have 200+ yards left.

Maxima Crystal Ivory
Anyone ever use this line? I got a 596 yard spool at walmart for 10 dollars last night and replaced the line on two of my poles to try it out. One pole had the stock line on it, was red 15lb test and after only two outings it was starting to show some wear. The other pole had some cheapo 2 dollar 30lb test that was the worst line I have ever used and I literally broke it with my bare hands... I should not be able to do that easily if at all.
