Re: Kokanee-Chinook Hybrid at Lake Berryessa?

All the inland chinook are triploided so they cannot spawn. They also don't have the necessary spawning habitat around Berryessa.

    My vote it's a chinook

Re: Thinking of getting new motor

with two people should get on plane easy. But with more weight, still probably be able to plane but not as fast. you can go bigger than rated, like a 50hp but would be liable if an accident occurred.

    Re: Boat Cover

land or seas design (415) 459-5966 in san rafael did a good job for me. But you have to go with sunbrella, expensive but will save you in the end.

    Good luck.
  12. Re: American River Hatchery anyone know it's Status

The best way to preserve the fish would have been on ice and delivered as soon as possible. Freezing can destroy possible causes. Looks like liver disease that could be caused by many...

Re: Spearfishing for Striped Bass in Valley

Some people consider stripers an invasive species since they are non-native. I would be scared of being snagged or ran over by a boat if spearfishing in the water.
