    True, but my friend says dry fly is the purist way to go, nymphing is cheating?

    I'm mostly gear and/or bait so it is all good for me. I just like getting into some fish.

    #1.) People think flyfishing only uses Top Water Flys, when 95% of the time you will be fishing the bottom or stripping in through the middle water column.

    The Average Fly Rod is designed to throw very tiny lures, but doesnt mean only Top Water Bugs.
    A Fly Rod isn't intimidating its the New Knowledge that might intimidate certain Anglers.
