I fish in my 18' Crestliner boat. On that trip I was in the middle fork most of the day but I don't think it really matters. In years past I used to fish the north fork more and I landed better fish in the north fork.

    Thanks for the report!

Do you fish from the shore or a boat?

If you want to just go catch a bunch of bass now is a good time. I landed 50 bass today fishing by myself. Nothing over 14 inches but some days are like that. A LOT of 12 inch fish. My best bait today was a 5" Yamamoto grub in white. Rigged on a darthead and just slowly reel it back to the boat. Next best was a KVD drop shot in Chartreus. Most of my fish were in 15 feet of water. Temps are 64-68 degrees. I launched at Bidwell and was only the 9th vehicle at 7:30 so easy parking on the ramp.
Things I tried with no luck.
Jigs, underspin, Umbrella rig, large Keitech.
Things that got at least some fish.
Senko, Darthead Roboworm, small Keitech and of course a white grub and dropshot rig.
