    The rattletrap or kastmaster should have a good chance at producing a salmon as well! I got one at the state park casting a krokodile spoon, all chrome.
    It’s better to be fishing and thinking about God then to be in church thinking about fishing.

    Nice, I actually live in Benicia myself. Am about to start a new thread since I am absolutely clueless about saltwater/brackish fishing.

    I've started fishing for salmon here in my home waters. Its been really dead here this early summer. I fish here about 3 times a week and visit town almost every day. So after throwing spinners, I switched to striper lures like a ratLtrap, swimbait, and a kastmaster when the wind started kicking up after work. Hooked into this nice 19-20" stripers, about the same length as the ocean beach fish the day before - but this one was fatter and stronger with a good fight on my abu c3 set to low drag.

    decided to keep it
