    Freeport report 9/13

My two brothers and I finally made our first trip below the Freeport bridge. We launched at Garcia Bend at 4:45pm and headed down to the bridge. We started our drift about 200 yards below the bridge and drifted to just below Cliff's Marina. On our second drift my brother got a nice 15lb hen. We made a few more drifts and then it was my turn. Mine was not quite as big but was a real bright 10lber. We were jigging 2oz spoons. The 2 colors that worked for us were red/green and purple. There were several other fish caught around us including one caught by the sea lion.
