Re: First trip to Berryessa Sept 4 Wed.

we were fishing from 50-80 ft. stacking the down riggers.
I checked water temp with a thermometer placing it on down rigger
at 70 feet it registered 61 degrees.

    surface temp 79-81 degrees.

    good luck.

Very good. What depths. We are planning on going Saturday morning. We were at new melones over last weekend and caught 1 koke. Been doing a lot of fishing not catching

Well we ended with 4 kokes and 3 rainbows. 2 rainbows farmed.
about a dozen boats. somewhat slow day. A few boats did limit, just have to get back and hope the water cools down.

First trip to Berryessa Sept 4 Wed.

Going to give it a try Wednesday. Hope there are a few Kokes still hungry. Or should I target the rainbows?
Any advice as to what baits are best. Colors and depth?
    Thanks,
    Firetrout
