Tomales bay help in finding crabbing snare

You take any pictures of the crab caught snared? It'd be interesting to see for those that never has crabbed.

Yeah, I got a couple of pics, but still trying to figure out how to post pics here. Work in progress. We look forward to going back and this time, will have a few more snares. We had a great crab fest/Thanksgiving dinner and all the crab is gone.

Those snares are pretty neat. We checked our pots this morning out in Tomales and while they soaked we dropped anchor in about 18'-20' and tossed two snares out and just starting catching them left and right. To be honest, caught more legal crabs on the snares this morning from our boat than we caught from our pots.

We headed over to Bodega and picked up a couple of snares and some more bait. Ready for tomorrow.

We are in Tomales bay crabbing on our boat and have heard about using crab snares. Where can we purchase them around here? We are staying in Marshall.
