Re: Road Game
Dad?
Just joking, but I just picked my parents up at the airport from a trip to Glacier this past Sunday lol. Looks like you had as good of a time as they did.

Re: Road Game
Nice report,
I was up at Glacier earlier this summer and we fished Quartz lake I believe. Off the hook action for westslope cutts and even some bull trout. Nice place to get away from it all and lots of wildlife to see.
Best,

Yeah, dead on Crabby! So many of the reports are from a relatively small area, I would love to see reports from all of the Western states! I am a creature of habits, I frequently travel to the same spots repeatedly, but by having reports from other locales, I just might broaden my travels!.......bob

Re: Road Game
According to the literature I was reading, Hidden Lake is populated by Yellowstone Cutthroats.

Re: Road Game
Nice fish! I caught one myself in July, when my wife and I were camping on Jackson lake in the Grand Tetons. It was about the size of yours, technically a "Snake river fine-spotted cutthroat". Was that what that one was? I know Wyoming alone has four different cutthroat species, and of course we have our beautiful Lahontans here.....cutthroats all around one of the down-right prettiest trout you can catch.

Idaho, summer, smoke? Wooda thunk that. Last three years I have not been able to get to the gold sites when I travel up there due to fires. Are they trying to be California? Fires all the time? Sorry for the vent those pic's and that writeup are great.......Jetspray

Re: Road Game
Most of the scenic shots were hazy from the smoke - I did get some other wildlife stuff. I'll try and post some later.
