Sounds like you guys all had fun. That's what it's all about. This is the best time of year up there, they still have plenty of fish in the various waters, and hardly any people to compete with.

Dont let them give you a bad time about a pink pole! Here is our "little pinky" on the left and it SLAYS!!! For some reason it catches the most and biggest and we all fight over who gets to use it.

Too late. LOL! Since you are way more computer literate than I, I cannot and wont attempt to argue with you. But if that is the case, then let's say it and stop telling everyone "we're working on it". Let us know so we can build on the great tutorials you posted about posting pics and educate the user better. Instead, guys are choosing not to post pics or MODS are doing it for them. The site should be as user friendly (I hate that term. LOL) as possible. I fully understand the economics behind it, as the online side isn't the revenue generator that the print side is so budgets come into play. But, the powers that be have known since the switch over that there are unresolved issues within the boards and no apparent progress is being made. How many threads have been closed or posts deleted because something was misinterpreted or someone was clowning around but without emoticons you couldn't tell and things escalate? I'm guilty myself.

Perhaps this rant should be in the soapbox section, but that would take the fun out of it.

I guess you'd have to make those edits no matter what. I agree that PhotoB is extra work, but I don't see the old way coming back anytime soon. I imagine the powers that be disabled that feature for security reasons. I rather have to use PB to post pics than have the site hacked again.

On one I cropped the pic to eliminate my nieces face, and the othr I blurred her face out. dont want o be posting up pics of people without their permission, well at least not family members, and especially the ladies

I don't edit either. Well, I do shrink the photos down to expedite uploading. But I have a super simple way with my Windows of doing that. I just select the photos I want to down size then select "email" it ask what size I want the photos and select the one I want. WA-la done and uploaded quickly to PhotoB.

I see your point. For me, if I'm going to share I do it on Facebook. I just have an issue when I have to edit a pic and I have to do it in photoshop, upload to bucket and then post. Just an extra step in the process
