Re: Trout Week (Pictures)
Looks like it was an awesome week! Really loved all the photos.
I didnt get to topaz, but did fish the Carson west and east forks this past week with a ton of fish and fun!
So glad everyone has been catching fish and enjoying the area!

Re: Trout Week (Pictures)
Great week Richard and thanks for the report. This is also my favorite time of year. I can't make it up there this Fall but as you know, I'll be in Idaho for my daughter's wedding in three weeks and will be fishing the Big Wood River and Silver Creek for two days. Some day I'll have to drag you up there. As for now, I'm just counting the weeks before I move over your way. Based on your chronicles over the last several years, is there any wonder why a fisherman would want to live there.

Great post Cptn. Glad to see all the sniffers pounding some granite and bagging some fatties. Really glad to see Bill back at it. I cant wait till we get some frost on the ground.
A bad fisherman will leave trash and take fish.

Thing was that there were a ton of fish showing on the FF, but we were thinking more of them were golden trout (carp). We saw them jumping all over the place. The opener should be fun as the Captain was saying they were gonna start planting heavy in the followin months before Jan 1st......Jetspray

Re: Trout Week (Pictures)
Fabulous post and photos as usual.
We thought we would run into the Captain, but apparently we were just ahead of you or behind you. We too had great fishing on the West Carson and our biggest on the East Carson. Possibly the biggest ever caught there for us. Many 4-5 lbs. We must have caught and released 40+ fish today of all sizes. Kept two this time as they didn't appear they would make it. We now are trying not to even take them out of the water--but then no photos to speak of.
Beautiful fall day, but we did get hard rain on the way home.

Great report and glad to see you again Richard. Was good seeing Bill to and he and I need to do our winter lake pounding for trout if we ever get the colder weather. MarinPaul and I had a BLAST and a report will be coming soon!!!
