Went to San Pablo this morning. Caught a 19" LMB, a 20" carp, and a 22" catfish but no trout. Fishing from shore with worms and powerbait but no trout. Talked to a few guys trolling and they didn't get anything either.

Maybe I was just in the wrong part of the lake. =(

so many options for saturday morning! i heard san pablo was stocked as well. where to go, san pablo, or bon tempe. its a nice problem to have. either way, im visiting one of the two.

I confirmed they planted 2000 pounds today, about 3/4 pound average size. Have fun!

I saw 10/7/12 from the CA DFG earlier today, but regardless it should happen before this weekend, so I'll post a report once I get back. I'll take some pics this time!

Hell, 6 fish in 4-1/2 hours in the afternoon, at low elevation at this time of year! That's great, you had a fantastic day when you consider all the facts! Ya even a big 'un to boot. Hopefully a good season on that lake awaits! Bob
