Ice House 10/13

Picked a friend up in El Dorado Hills and made the trek up to Ice House. After a stop for sandwiches at Fresh Pond, we got up there a little after 7:00 to one boat on the water. Started trolling worm/dodger combos and started picking up some fish. Most small planters that were released with a few nice keepers. Few more boats showed up as we started trolling to the back of the lake. Right were it starts to narrow, I see a group of three adults and about a half dozen kids fishing off the bank. Hear someone start calling my name, and one of the guys in the group was a friend of mine, he was there with one of his sons, his neighbors, and their kids. They were doing alright pulling in trout on power eggs. Got off the water a 3:00 with two limits of fish. Coolest part of the day was I release a small trout, as it's swimming away, an Osprey flies down to snatch it. Most of the fish were caught topline with a few on the downrigger at 20 feet.
