Well the morning didn't start so well, My daughter and her Boy Friend was going to be at the house at 5:30am. I waited til 6:15 and no one showed...

So off to North Shore Camanche. After a brief chat with Aaron, i launched. I wanted to try up the Narrows and the Bridge area. I dropped lines, just past the Buoys out of North Shore. I trolled all the way, Past the Bridge and finally the rod is bouncing... 3 lbs Bass, Released. So its now almost 10am. So i picked up and made a long run out to the Dam. When i arrived there i see fshnplmbr, Jeff working the dam area. After a brief chat on the radio. He says is has one, that's one more than i have... So i worked the same area. Finally i picked up a nice 18"er. So stayed here for awhile. No more grabs. It's getting to be around 1pm and decided to troll all the way back to North Shore Ramp... Just as i get between Dale's point and the Ramp... Both rods go off... Nice Double... So i stayed in this area for a bit longer... Picked up one more. Now up to four fish. So what the heck, lets try by the Rockwall. Half way between the Rockwall, another grab. This turns out to be biggest of the day. Maybe around 3 1/2lbs. Now its getting late. So i picked up my gear and headed in. So, i ended the whole day with 6 Grabs and 6 Fish to the boat. I didn't keep any fish today... The kids were supposed to get them. I did get some pictures of the fish in the water...

It really was my toughest day at Camanche in a long time... With the crazy Weather, the last couple days and they are letting water out for the Salmon... The Surface Temp this morning was 69.4 and it warmed up to 71.1 when i left at 6:00pm. Nice talking to Jeff, looks like he had a pretty good crew with him. We will get them next time. Until Next Time....
