Lake Englebrigh Trout Pen Project --Update
Looks like California Inland Fisheries Foundation, CIFFI, stepped up and supported Englebright Trophy Trout Pens. This is good news to see CIFFI expanding their support of Trophy Trout Pens to another Lake, after their decision to not fund the pens at Lewiston and Trinity Lake. Fortunately Kokanee Power agreed to fund these pens when asked by the Forest Service and Fish and Game.
Trophy Trout pens require trout food pellets from November to May and I know that Kokanee Power provides thousands of pounds for a cost of over $15,000.
I will post more info on the Trophy Trout programs so you can appreciate the partnerships that help enhance our inland fisheries..
Lisa Rogers, Skippers Cove Marina, Englebright, was presented with a check for $1,000, in support of their new fish-enhancing pen project program. If you are fishing Lake Englebright and have a great day catching trout... stop by the marina and thank Lisa and her husband for their efforts.
