It figures they would change up the rules on the stickers. Did they change the fees too? We have to get a AIS sticker down here, does that one apply up there too ($10 added to your lic fee)?........Jetspray

THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO DELAYS OR CLOSURES FOR INSPECTIONS AT CAVE ROCK, SAND HARBOR OR LAKE FOREST, see hours of operation below.
2013 Lake Tahoe Inspection Stickers Now available: The 2013 Lake Tahoe Inspection Stickers are now available at Cave Rock, Sand Harbor and Lake Forest. Inspections for boats without blue Lake Tahoe wire inspection seals are only available at Cave Rock and Lake Forest, Sand Harbor will only accept sealed boats. We will sell 2013 stickers at the 2012 price for the month of January. The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency will release the 2013 fee structure February 1st (no major changes or increases expected for inspection cost, some changes anticipated to the decontamination fees). If you have any questions please call the hotline at 888-824-6267.

During the winter season (October -April) ALL inspections for boats WITHOUT Lake Tahoe wire inspection seals will be performed at Cave Rock & Lake Forest boat launches only. Cave Rock and Lake Forest boat launches are subject to closure or delays during inclement winter weather. All other launch facilities open during the winter (Obexers, Sand Harbor, Ski Beach, Tahoe Keys, etc.) will only launch boats with INTACT Lake Tahoe wire inspection seals; NO inspections or decontaminations will be available at these facilities.
During the winter season hot water decontaminations are by appointment only, weather permitting and additional fees may apply. Decontaminations may not be available when overnight temperatures are below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Please plan ahead and arrive CLEAN, DRAINED & DRY for inspection.
