Re: skunk sesion at quarry (and not the good kind)

I had my eb annual for 2 yrs when i was living in the bay area and faced this problem A LOT. Easy fix if youre bait fishing... perfect for Quarry lakes.. get a nice surf rod with braided line and cast from the opposite side. Hopefully you can wing it to your hole. Rod stiffness does not matter if youre bait fishing. Just have a bobber or some kind of bite indicator pulled between eyes and very light leader line.
People used to laugh when I walked in with a tiny 5 footer for close distance and a 12 footer for hail mary casts but after I was the only one catching/limiting they kept quiet quick. This also works when theyre far & deep.

Angry skunk sesion at quarry (and not the good kind)

Got to quarry at 7:20 of course the ear hustlers had my spot locked down.thats the last time i tell the regs whats up.theyve been choking the life out the place.Ene- wayz gave it a couple hours and decided to let the poachers have the place.a word to the wise you find a spot keep it to yourself.im not complaining about having to share the lake just lil bummed out,few weeks ago my spot was no mans land shared my catch with an older cat now my spot looks like fishermans row or the kiosk. Danm im just sayin! Took me a year to find my own crack spot.oh well 3 more weeks the crestliners paid off and im out this beast.
