Wanting to make the 3 hour trip to shaver for an overnighter in the tent. 2 years ago we went and just destroyed the trout population. Some of the best fishing we've ever had. Although, getting lost in the middle of the lake at sundown in a snowstorm out of nowhere, made it pretty exciting. Yes it can happen ...even on a small lake! Anyway...is the winter trout fishing any good since they drained it? I'd hate to spend $150 in gas to find out fishing is not the same since they drained. Thx!
