Lenny: Looks like things are finally coming around up at Berry... Just need to get the water a bit clearer... Congrats on a few nice size Bows at the Berry. Hope to see you up there, one of these days... Robbie
I fished Berry on Sunday with my sons and ended up with 3 good sized fish for the effort. The fish ranged from 17-20". Two of 3 were caught rolling shad on side planers and the other was off the downrigger at 6 ft. also using shad. We fished the narrows, skiers cove, and big island. The Narrows has the cleanest water.
The fish are still not overly aggressive, but that may change with some warmer temperatures. It was 27 degrees when we launched at 7:45 and there was ice on the ramp. When cleaning the fish there was nothing in any of the stomachs. I was expecting to find midge or shad.
It was quiet on the lake...likely because everyone was at the ISE show in Sacramento. I would be there too, but my wife's New Years resolution was to ban me from purchasing more fishing equipment.
