Hey Robbie! I started again the salmon season before the four year haitus. Caught a few salmon the first season it opened, then about six or so last year. Started taking friends out and decided to upgrade boat. Now plenty of room in North River Trapper 19'. Guess I will have to change my handle. I have photos of the fish to post, but not sure how to do it. Anyone want to direct me to the instructions, feel free.

Jack if you are feeling better later in the day give me a call and I will let you know how we did. Will be out there Monday trying to get a coworker's daughter her first fish on her sixth birthday. Got his older daughter her first fish on her sixth birthday.

Ouch, it has made its presence in my household, I am spraying my computer after replying to your post. Tip, Jack Daniels will cure just about anything.

Stinger15: Bob, I thought you didn't fish anymore? Good to see on the Boards again. Yes, the Narrows as been the place to be. Yes, they want a fast troll these days. I have been doing really well with my Spoons and Rapalas at 2.0 to 2.7 GPS. As for the Depths with the downriggers, I have been running one at 6' and the other at 8'. Hope to see you up there one of these days.

    Comanchee 1/19/2013

Took my granddaughter out for hopefully a good time fishing. On the water about ten thirty, not much going on till one O'clock, then bite was "on". We caught six in two hours, lost one during retrieve. All were caught on lead core line, about six colors out trolled at 1.8 to 2.1 MPH according to GPS. Nightcrawler threaded about 18" behind sling blade. None of the top lines produced a bite. we fished in the 20 MPH zone east of the houseboats after launching at the north shore. The fish are bright, with full tails, and between one and three pounds. Last sunday me and a couple buddys caught four in the same area, with one coming on needlefish bikini top line and the others on leadcore. I have downriggers but havn't been able to find the sweetspot depthwise.
