I haden't been fishing since mid November
cause of this cold weather.
It just seems the older i get i don't
handle the cold like i once
did.
I just wanted to get out on the water
so i decided to hit Folsom.
Did my homework on both boards
as to where the trout were biteing.
I was on the water a bit late 8:30
and headed to the dam area for
o for two hours.
In the past i've done pretty good up the N.fork
so away i go.
Top lined rapalas on 1 rod the other
watermelon dodger an crawler.
I get to the Anderson iland area for
1 14'' trout on the dodger on top.
Oh yea i got a fish lucky me.
So i decide to try leadcore at 2 1/2
colors silver dodger crawler combo.
My leadcore set up goes off and i thought
that i had snagged the bottom but
it started ripping line.
HEY i got a fish.
So i set the drag an slowly get it
to the boat.
After 3-4 tries with the net i get the fish in
the boat.
I don't have a scale but i figure
it was 4 maybe 5 pounds.
I know forsure it's the biggest i've
caught out of Folsom.
The weather was nice and 2 fish to
boot.
