insearchoffish: I was there all day on Saturday. Trust me, i worked my --- off to get the kids some fish. Funny thing was, i don't like trolling around the mouth of South Shore... It is way to Shallow for me. That where i did my best. Hope to see you on the water soon.

Well Robbie another great post! Looks like I went everywhere but where the fish were LOL
I was out there friday and saturday fished causeway, rockwall, Big Hat, Bouy Line, Narrows, houseboat cove and only picked one up on the troll and one soaking some PE. Thanks for all the help, bummed I didnt run into you, need to get me a radio!

Went out to the narrows today and spent four hours enjoying a tour. One bite, no stick. Saw only one fish landed. You have the magic touch Robbie.

Good job! I knew of several that when the Sat and did so so. Not a hot bite but everyone I think got something. Thanks for the sunset pics!

My Daughter ask on Thursday if they could fish with Dad on Saturday? I said of course you guys can!!! So they met me at the house at 5:30. Off to North Shore Camanche. After a long chat with Aaron (Windmeel) we launched. So we set up four lines, two with Rapalas, on the Planerboards and two on the Downriggers (4' & 6") with Spoons... Headed over to the Rockwall for nothing, so into the Narrows. Had one grab on the Spoon that didn't stick. So i wanted to show the kids the Bridge, that's when we found some fish. Had a triple, only problem was, one came off and the other was a 3+ Bass. So now we have one in the box. So back to China Gulch. Picked another there. So lets try the Rockwall again. Still nothing. So I remember Aaron saying that they planted the last time at South Shore. So out in front of the entrance, it got really shallow. 14' Then the planer board goes off. Nice 3 pounder in the box. Then another, then another... Then we had a big take down, it was stripping line like crazy, so i handed the rod to Shawn, i wanted him to catch a big fish. Well, it Turns out to be a 4 lbs+ Bass... Oh Well. We finish up our day there in front of South Shore. We then trolled across the lake, taking some Limit Stick Pics. Yes, of Course i had to have a Sunset Picture too!!! Talked to Nate and Chris (RumNKoke) on the water too!!!

Getting Late, time to Go!!!

No Fillet Photo's today. I just cleaned the fish at the cleaning Station... Yes, there is a Light there now. I had a great time with the kids. Shawn bought the year pass this year. He Said to me "I want to go more this year" No Problem... There was this one time that the planerboard was screaming the clicker, Shawn says "I did see the rod move" Leslie says "Shawn, can't you hear that" That ended up being one of the Bass. That's what you get!!! Weather was a little cool in the morning, but when the sun came out, it warmed up some. The wind did pick up later in the day. Just what that lake needs... When its dead flat calm, it can be tough. So Until next time...
