Re: Best Lure for Pardee Opener

I always fish with needle fish or a small rapala with in the fire tiger color. Lure tied straight to the line. No spinner's, flasher, or spoons inline with the lure. Had much success.

Goodluck to everyone going up there.

I'll be out there with my son and grandson. Going to leave the boat at home
and fish off the bank. Hopefully the opener will be better than last year.
    Good Luck to all.

If I make it out, gonna be a toplined worm behind a sling blade out the back and a bare needlefish down about 6'-10' on the downriggers. Troll between 1.8-2.2gps speed. Its gonna be like springtime conditions.

What setup is going to be the bomb at the opener this Friday? I am starting with a sling blade and wiggle hoochie. Going to a speedy shiner if that fails. How about you guys?
