Nice post an pics Bear,thanks for the update,sounds like the place was slammed cuz of the new plants of trophy trout an a holiday for many,had a lot of reports from friends telling me to get down there now,LOL.I didn't go though!!!!

The weather this weekend has been awesome, Monday was the only day I could get out and there's a storm heading in for tomorrow. Brother in-law & I decided on Collins - they've been planting some nice fish and just dropped some in on Thursday. Surface temp was 47-49 (east side was warmer) water is murky and high. The beach was shoulder to shoulder fishermen and the ramp parking lot was full. We started trolling north on the west side - pretty much threw everything at them - one hit on an F9 Hot Steel Rapala but missed it. Finally landed a nicer fish on a Sep's Sling blade Chicken Pox with a crawler, up the river. Went up to the bridge, then back down the east side. Turned to my old fav Ford fenders with a crawler and white power egg - put two more in the boat with that rig. Then we called it a day. Morning was calm but the wind started being steady about noon.
