Congrats on your catch and thanks for sharing. I am hoping to get up there on March 9...hopefully there will still be fish there!

    My Pardee report 2/22.

Thanks. Yeah the water was really low. I don't think I've ever seen it that low, but this is the earliest in the season I have fished there.

Very nice! Thats is a good area, lots of fish moved around the Island.

A bad fisherman will leave trash and take fish.

    My Pardee report 2/22.

I started fishing around 6am at the Porcupine Point area. I saw a few fish jumping when I first arrived but couldn't get any to bite. I tried garlic power bait, floating nightcrawlers off the bottom and tossed a kastmaster a few times. Decided to try a new spot after a couple hours with no action.

Headed over to I believe its called Tom Sawyer island? It's the little cove with the foot bridge. Anyway, they must have just planted because there were lots of fish in there. I caught my first fish in about 10 minutes using a sliding sinker with an inflated crawler coated with pro-cure trophy trout scent. Fished for about 1 1/2 hrs. landing 2 more, 1 with a crawler again and another with a silver Kastmaster. The biggest was 2.5 lbs.

Gonna have some trout for dinner tonight! Got em' stuffed with bacon and butter ready for the grill. All in all it was a pretty good day.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361574299.964486.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1361574317.026721.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1361574334.124578.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1361574349.475526.jpg
