Great report and pics. Having to work hard for them keeps us in check. Glad that boat is working out for you. I know you have been working on it. I just have to try it soon

Nice tails on those trout, good pics! Nice setup with the boat and the small gas powered engine (?).

    Melones, Morman and points South.

Went out with Piranha, launching at TT and headed south. Slight drizzle, no wind, the lake was like glass. Worked around Morman, to South Island, Piranha picked up one or two, but released them to grow up a bit. Wind started picking up, and we worked all around and thru those numerous coves in the area, and started picking up fish. As we did, the wind began to pick up in earnest.
Once the sheep started frolicking, we decided to head in and call it a day. That was quite an adventure, the wind and resulting white caps, made for slow going. We had a little water over the bow. once or twice, and a lot of spray in the face. We got more wet from the ride in, then we did in the early morning drizzle. Needless to say, we wore the life vests all day.

Crawlers out performed the spoon and Raps today. Had one little eye opener when a sunken log stopped our forward progress for a moment, and then maneuvering around the sunken tangle. Keep a sharp eye out there, we saw a prop stoppers or two out there today.
    Just a couple pics.

    LOG!

Face Saver, no wind face with this!

    Smoker bound

Pirahna and I used to work together back in the day, and talked about fishing. Now, we fish together, but don't talk about work. ;D Thanks for keeping me entertained all day!
