    Re: Huntington's Big Brown's

Yup that was me and the crew.
Get you a handheld vhf. they work great for these small lakes.
Best lures today were a gold/red speedy 12' on the rigger.
4.5" baby bow trophy stick 6 colors deep.
C-D 7 BT rapala on the top.
    Trophy trout sauce on all.
    3.5 mph
    Water was 57.5 deg.
Can you believe how much water that lake has
    Limits the rule.

Slap, did you do any good? We passed each other a few times, I was the one wearing the cowboy hat that held my arms up to ask you how you were doing...

I didn't catch any browns..I couldn't keep the rainbows of my lures.. I was trolling some big stuff too...Water was a little warmer than I expected..

    Re: Huntington's Big Brown's

Might head up there sunday myself...not set in stone though..

    Slapabow,

Have you caught any decent size browns from there? I'm thinking you have to cover alot of water and maybe only have one or two hook ups every couple trips...Am I thinking this right or is it more action packed?

I have a rainbow trout colored BBR with a big browns name on it.... [smiley=fishing1.gif]

Hey Kev.......what are the launch conditions? Is the main ramp still immersed in water enough to enable launching of larger vessels?

A thought........large (8" to 10&quot broken-back Rapala's in rainbow color smeared with 'Trophy Trout Gel, or Trophystiks with the same smearage.

You could also look at the Brownie on Dave Flum's wall at Clovis Marine. Also caught at Huntington.

    Good luck to you guys,

    Huntington's Big Brown's

Who's gonna target them this year? I have been wanting to fish for them for years now and I believe this year I'm gonna try.

Just wondering who else is gonna be up there...Water temps should be getting close....
