Couldn't get out on Sunday so went out today instead. Got there around 3:15pm and it was like fishing a river due to the releases from Folsom. I first did some scouting from the walking bridge upstream of the Rainbow Bridge and 15 feet off the bank I saw 3 rainbows at least the size of the 10 lber I caught back in January of '09. I fished off the rocks in that area but didn't catch anything: Powerbait, silver and gold Kastmasters, cranks in shad and crawdad patterns and different sizes, jigs, silver and black Roostertail and even a pumpkin grub to no avail. I know for a fact that if I had drifted nightcrawlers or minnows under a bobber, I might have had something. Anyways, left at 7:30 after an enjoyable day and watching the park ranger bust 2 guys who had been drinking and were later yelling before the ranger heard them.
